Autotune the News vs. Internet Memes Video

We here at the Webby Awards are proud to present the premiere of a brand new Autotune the News video. In this installment, the Gregory Brothers and Barely Political stray from their usual subject matter of pressing political issues and decide to aim their effects-filter at something with a little more relevance to the Webby Community: Internet Memes.

So enjoy as some of your favorite viral videos get the Autotune treatment.

Colbert Nation to Sponsor Men's Speed Skating Team

Stephen Colbert, host of the Colbert Report and 2008 Webby Person of the Year, stepped-up to sponsor the US Men's Speed Skating team after Dutch bank DSB failed to make any payments to the team. Colbert told the Associated Press "On their enormous billboard thighs, it will say, 'Colbert Nation'. Be looking for that logo as it comes around the final turn. It will be easy to see because it will be in first place."
