The watch that wouldn’t quit
This post is the first of many more digital watches to come. I thought it was appropriate that for the first digital watch illustration I picked one of the most common digital watches out there – the Casio F-91W.

The F-91W was first introduced by Casio in 1991 and continues to sell well today, more than twenty years later. Casio has since released variations of the watch in different colors and varying levels of water resistivity. The watch began being associated with terrorist activities in 2006 when officials discovered its use in the making of bombs. Despite it’s long history, however, the Casio F-91W remains a classic whose aesthetics epitomize the era from which it came.
